Seaworld Trainer Die's

Dawn Brancheau, 40 was killed when a bull orca named Tilikum jump out of the water and grabbed her by the waist then pulled her underwater, no one knows why the whale attack. Tilikum is one of three whales that has been blamed for killing a trainer in 1991 at Sealand of the Paciffic in Victoria, British Columbia. A man's body was also found draped over Tilikum at Orlando Seaworld in July 1999.

Daniel Dukes made his way past security at Seaworld, he either jumed, fell or was pulled into the Tilikum's tank.

Dawn Brancheau had just finished explaining to the audience about the show they was going to see when the attack happened. Visitors were evacuated from the park, and the park closed. It is very sad when attacks like this happens, and the trainers who work with these wonderful mammals understand more than anyone, that at heart, no matter how much training they do they are wild animals and there are risks . The love and devotion the trainers have for this mammals, bring us understanding and knowlege about these curtures. Dan Brown the park's general manager said Dawn "was one of our most experienced animal trainers"

Man Is Sentenced Over Guide Dog Attack

John-Jo Madden, 18 of Gospel Oak in north west London, is banned from keeping dogs for 10 years by magistrates on Tuesday. His dog a terrier type dog badly wounded a blind women's guide dog. His dog ran out of control in an underpass at Cricklewood railway station last year.

Detective Constable Gerry Griffin, of the British Transport Police (BTP) said, this case sends a very strong message about the responsibilities of being a dog owner. Police have warned dog owners to keep their dogs under control.

It's the responsibility of dog owners to make sure they understand the DOG LAWS. Having a dog is more responsibility than just taking it for a walk and feeding it.

We all need to stop attacks like this from happening, one is to keep your dog on a lead and under control. No matter what breed or size dog you have, training is a good thing to do for you and your dog. Training can help you understand your dog better, and help you have your dog under control. Your dog also benefits from training too. Its helps to socialises your dog, gets your dog using its brains, (yes your dog dose have a brain). Training can build up a good relationship between you both.

If you don't already know the dog laws then please read them, by clicking on the link below
