What is Tilicum the Whales Future

After reading a letter about Tilicum the whales at this link below, I wanted to reply but was unable, unless I registered, so I put my view here

It’s very had to understand what is going on in the mind of an animal when it attacks. No matter how much we learn about each animal, there body language for instance. We still can’t say for sure, what they are thinking or feeling every minute of the day. When we take a wild animal away from its natural habitat no matter for what reason, we are doing much more than taking its freedom. With an orca (whale) they live in pods, have a family. We have to understand this and take on the responsible that comes with it, even the dangers. Man has done more horrors in this world, and most of the time they get away with it, or if punished, it dose not always comply with the crime they have done, and some of these crimes they are still doing for their own gain.

Yes this instance of a human tragedy cannot be ignored, but to even think of euthanizing Tilicum is wrong, also it’s a lot harder to release an orca back to the wild. We as human are suppose be more intelligent and compassionate. The life of Tilicum was taken long ago when he was taken from the wild; and his family. He has been trained to do tricks for people to watch, and yes, he is well looked after, but stop to think how you would feel being taken away from everything you know and put in a tank and trained to perform. Not every human can cope with being locked up in prison, some have even kill them selves your attacked other prison inmates and officers, do we euthanizes them, so how can we think every animal (whale) is going to be happy in a tank or cage.
