Crack Down on Dog Owners/Walkers

Greenwich Council is taking tough new measures on dog owners, owners and dog walkers will be given on the spot fines of £75 under the new Dog Control Orders, if they let the dog:

Fail and don’t clean up after the dog
Let the dog off the lead in a designated area or on public paths
Allow the dog into exclusion areas.

There will be other spaces with restrictions on the number of dogs that one person can have under their control at any time. It will also be an offence if you don’t put your dog on a lead when instructed to do so by an authorised officer.
