Electric Shock Dog Collars

What is your opinion on electric shock dog collars, are you for them or against. The use of electric shock collars will soon be made a criminal offence in Wales announced minister Elin Jones. There are a range of electric shock products available that can be activated to train against bad behaviour.
What is an electric shock collar; it’s a small box that contains electrical components and a battery which is fitted to a collar. There are two metal probes that stick out of the underside of the box and makes contact with the skin on the dog neck. The collar when activated administers an electric shock which we know that can hurt. Most shock collars have various settings to increase the strength of the stock. It sounds nasty doesn’t it?
