Wolves Eating Habits

What do you imagine wolves eating salmon or deer? Well new research suggest that when salmon is available they perfuer to eat that. A wolf reduces deer hunting when salmon is available. Chris Darimont from the University of Victoria and the Raincoats Conservation Foundation, Canada, went with a team of researchers who studied the wolves feeding habits, over a course of four years. Remains was identified in wolf dropping by a chemical analysis of shed wolf hair to determine what the wolf eat thought out the year. Most of the year wolves eat deer. In the autumn salmon becomes available and the wolves shift their preferences. Information says, one would expect wolves would move to salmon only if deer was in short supply, data show that this is not the case. Have any comments, look forward to hearing from you.
