Dog Owner Rescued From Sea

A dog owner jumped from pier at Port Talbot after his his dog who later escaped unharmed from the sea. Coastguards and lifeboats scrambled to the scene after several passers by call emergency services.

But a surfer managed to get to the 44 year old man and managed to get him to the shore, when he saw him getting into difficulties. Coastguard warned the public not to risk their own lives attempting to rescue their dogs. Dogs are very resilient and often make their own way back. Please if you feel; that your dog is in trouble and can’t make it back, then call 999 and ask for the coastguard, please don’t risk your own life. The man was very luck that so many people and the surfer were in the vicinity. This time it was a good outcome and the surfer got to him quickly.
